Itinerary

Your English-speaking guide will meet you upon arrival at the international airport in Hanoi. After freshening up at the airport, enjoy a light packed breakfast provided there. Begin the scenic journey to Sapa—an approximately 7-hour drive. On reaching Sapa, head to an Indian restaurant for lunch. Following lunch, check in to your hotel. The evening is yours to relax at your own pace. Meals included: Packed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Indian restaurant Guide: English-speaking Overnight stay: Sapa

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before boarding the Muong Hoa funicular at Sun Plaza. This scenic journey climbs through Rose Valley and takes about six minutes to reach the base of the cable car station. From there, ride the cable car for approximately 15–20 minutes, ascending through spectacular mountain vistas to an altitude near 2,800 m . Once disembarked, pause to take in the breathtaking views, visit the pagodas, and explore the spiritual landmarks. Then, prepare for the final ascent—climb about 600 stone steps to reach the summit of Fansipan, the "Roof of Indochina." This hiking portion takes around 1.5 hours round-trip for photos and exploration. Note: Even after the cable car, the summit requires a substantial climb of roughly 600 steps, which typically takes about 1.5 hours up and down on foot. After descending, enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the iconic glass bridge for more stunning views. The evening is at your leisure. Meals: Hotel breakfast; Indian restaurant for lunch and dinner Guide: English-speaking Overnight: Sapa

After an early hotel breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic 7hour drive back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant. In the afternoon: Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, where you'll walk through beautifully landscaped courtyards, see the iconic Khue Van Cac pavilion, and the historic stelae carried by stone turtles. Continue to West Lake and explore Trấn Quốc Pagoda, the city’s oldest pagoda founded in the 6th century on a peaceful islet by the lake. Head into Hanoi’s French Quarter and Hoàn Kiếm Lake area, stopping for a stroll through the historic Old Quarter. Take a guided walking tour around the Old Quarter to soak in local daily life and visit Đồng Xuân Market for some authentic shopping experiences. Upon arrival at Halong, board your traditional wooden cruise boat. As the cruise sets sail, the welcoming crew will greet you and ensure your journey is both comfortable and memorable. In the afternoon, cruise through the breathtaking seascape of Halong Bay, known as the “Bay of the Descending Dragon.” Discover natural wonders including majestic limestone islets, serene beaches, mysterious caves, and charming floating fishing villages. While on board, relax or take part in activities such as a traditional Vietnamese cooking demonstration led by the chef. Enjoy a delicious lunch and dinner on board, featuring local Vietnamese cuisine. A selection of wines and beverages is available (charges apply). As evening falls, take part in optional onboard entertainment like movie screenings, squid fishing, or simply unwind with a cocktail on the deck, surrounded by towering limestone formations under a star-lit sky. Continue your cruise across Halong Bay’s stunning array of over 2,000 islets, exploring more of its iconic scenery before disembarking by noon. Enjoy a packed lunch as you travel to Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport. The drive from Halong to the airport takes around 2.5–3 hours by private car-traffic permitting. In the evening, board your domestic flight to Danang (earliest departures after 5 p.m. recommended due to travel time). Stroll across the bridge and soak in the ethereal "walking in the clouds" atmosphere as you admire the lush forest and distant views of Da Nang and the South China Sea. Note: Admission to attractions like the Wax Museum, Alpine Coaster, Wine Cellar Debay, and carnival-style games is not included. Enjoy lunch on site at Bana Hills, sampling local and Western fare.
